Liebster Award

I’ve been nominated for many awards on my other blog Words We Heart  before, but it’s always nice to get the nomination, especially on here, since this blog is very new. Special thanks to Pip Squeak for nominating me!

The rules:

  • You must mention, thank, and link the blog who nominated you
  • Answer the 11 questions your nominator left for you
  • Nominate 11 small bloggers who have less then 200 followers and link them below
  • Leave 11 new questions for your nominees to answer
  • Alert your nominees via social media

Here are the question she asked:

Tea or coffee?

I think I’d say coffee because it helps me wake up, and I’m not a morning person at all. It also comes in different flavors, not just regular black coffee, so that’s always a bonus. I do really like tea also though!

Where do you dream of living/ travelling to?

I’ve always loved San Francisco, and it’s my dream to visit there and hopefully live there for awhile. I live in New York now which is already amazing, I don’t live in the city, but I visit as often as I can, and it’s definitely my dream to live there. I’m definitely a city girl so I know I’ll never live in a rural area. I’ll always be on the East Coast, or the West Coast. Now if we’re talking outside of the US, I definitely would love to live in Barcelona. Europe is such a beautiful place (even though I’ve never been) and I love how you can just take a train and end up in a different country. I’d love to visit France, since I already speak the language, and London, and Scotland (Outlander has gotten me intrigued). I also would love to visit Japan and Australia. My goal really would be to travel the world.

What has been your greatest accomplishment this year?

I don’t know, I’d have to think about it lol.

If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Pizza

Why did you start blogging?

Well, I’ve always had a passion for reading, so I started my first blog in March of last year, and I really enjoyed doing that, and since I also had a passion for beauty, and fashion, I wanted to write about that too, but I didn’t want to do it on the same blog, so I started this one.

Where do you find inspiration?

Anywhere really, the world has it’s beauty, you just have to know where to look.

What is your favourite book?

Tough question for an avid reader, but I’d have to say that I love Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell, and The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey. They’re not classics, I don’t know if you expected me to say Cather in the Rye (I actually read it and didn’t enjoy it) but those two books are amazing, and they’re recent.

What do you admire about yourself?

My confidence, and stubbornness, my ambitions and will to achieve them.

What is your life goal?

To be happy, sounds cheesy, but it’s the truth, and their are many things that will get me there, so they’re all my life goals.

What’s your favourite song? Why?

I love Hero by Enrique Iglesias, that song just really moves me. I love music, so my tastes change a lot, I can’t just pick one. I love Ed Sheeran, and Beyonce, I’ve been addicted to Trap Queen lately, and Conqueror from the Empire Soundtrack.

What is your favourite fictional character?

Adrian Ivashkov from the Bloodline Series  (and Vampire Academy series (it’s not as cheesy as it sounds, I promise)) by Richelle Mead

I’m fairly new, so I don’t know too many blogs yet, so I’ll just tag a couple

Congrats on your award! It’s refreshing to read a blog by someone so relatable and personable, and you totally deserve it 🙂 . Eleanor and Park is a lovely read, indeed; I feel like every teenage guy could take a lesson from Park, who loves Eleanor genuinely and completely not only in spite of, but actually because of her imperfections. God bless!

Aw thank you! I agree, Park Sheridan was such an amazing character and I think everyone deserves their own Park. I mean Augustus Waters is definitely an ideal boyfriend but I think Park might of surpassed him (:

You’re very welcome! That is a tough comparison, but I’d have to agree with you there. Albeit narrowly, if (nay, when! I don’t believe in stifling my delusions of grandeur, at least when it comes to literature haha) Park and Gus were ever to approach me, begging for my hand in girlfriendship, I’d have to go with Mr. Sheridan. And not only because Gus is currently unavailable… not to open old wounds! lol
